The PSD Olt president, Marius Oprescu, submitted his candidacy for the new mandate of president of the County Council on Wednesday. He was accompanied by the county parliamentarians and several of the county councilors.

Among those present were senators Siminica Mirea and Liviu Voiculescu and deputies Marius Iancu, Adrian Chesnoiu, Cătălin Grecu and Emil Albotă, as well as mayor Emil Moţ and sub-prefect Cosmin Floreanu.

“Today we are thinking about a new mandate and a different way of doing politics. As the slogan with which we start this new term says – United for the future, today we are setting off with a team of professionals, young people, women, men, people from all fields of activity, doctors, engineers, experts in European funds, communication experts, union representatives, young enthusiasts. All of us, I think we formed one of the most beautiful and strongest political teams in the country. I firmly believe that this team will be close to the citizens and will succeed in completing these projects, which will certainly become reality and will be implemented in the public administration of Olt”. said Marius Oprescu.

Among the new proposals of PSD Olt in the County Council are the president of the Scornicesti branch Ionuţ Pîrvu, professor Titu Vîrban, Gabriel Fluture, Crina Jilavu, Răzvan Stanca or Gabriel Nicolescu.

“It is a balanced list, we try to cover all areas of Olt County. As I said earlier, we try to cover all fields of activity. I couldn’t say that there are any surprises on the list, probably most expected that every organization would be represented in one way or another or that every area would be represented”, Marius Oprescu also declared.
