Unlike 2023, this year the number of projects that will receive money from the local budget of Sibiu under the Youth Agenda has almost tripled. The total value that the City Hall proposes for allocation has also increased.

The Mayor of Sibiu will propose at the local Council meeting on April 25 the list of projects that can benefit from non-refundable financing from public funds in 2024 included in the Youth Agenda.

According to the draft decision, eight projects were submitted in this year’s call, all of which were declared eligible. In total, the amount of 141,200 lei is proposed to be allocated for them, the requested amount being almost 300,000 lei.

The Urban Bike Revolution Association will receive the most for the project “Unstoppable – sport and mobility for young people with special needs” – 22,600 lei, this being the project that has accumulated the most points. The threshold of 20,000 lei is also crossed by the project of the Interakt Arts Association, “Anti-bullying!”, with a value of 20,600 lei. The same association will also receive money for the “NO domestic violence!” project, 17,900 lei. These three projects were also the only ones funded in last year’s agenda.

“Children of the revolution, children of hope”, “Digital Graphics” or “Digital Challenges” are other projects on the list of the eight that will receive money from the local budget.
