The concert in Cluj will take place as part of the Sfera Donatorilor din Transilvania event, a fundraising event now in its 12th edition and organized by Asociația Niște Oameni, which will be held this time at the Casino Urban Culture Center.

Matei Ioachimescu, one of the most virtuoso flautists of the moment and a true “rockstar” of classical music, donated the concert in Cluj as part of the ICONS national tour to the cause chosen by the Some People Association for the Donor Circle event in Transylvania, the 12th edition .

The event will take place at the Casino Urban Culture Center, the main partner of the edition, on May 15, from 6:30 p.m.

Although usually the Sphere of Donors from Transylvania involves the presentation and support of three projects in one edition, this time it will focus on supporting a single project, taking into account its importance and the considerable budget it needs.

Necessary project for Cluj and Transylvania

“It’s an absolutely necessary project for Cluj and for Transylvania: the “Sfântul Hristofor” Pediatric Palliative Care Center in Sânnicoara, on Eternitaităi fn street, which should be finished by the end of 2025.

In the NW area of Transylvania, there are no hospitals or centers to assist this category of patients, which must be approached not through the lens of prognosis, but according to the patients’ current needs. Pediatric palliative care is addressed to a category of patients who it is above the therapeutic resources and for which the classic hospitals no longer have the possibility of hospitalization”, the organizers say.

The event “ICONS for St. Hristofor” will have two main sections: the ICONS concert by flautist Matei Ioachimescu and a portion of the auction of sums for the Center “St. Christopher”.

The evening will begin with the presentation of the case to the public, so that they can decide whether they will stay in the second part of the event, thus committing sums higher than the price of the ticket.

Concert sold out

Attendance at the second part of the event is not mandatory for any ticket payer. The tickets were purchased on the entertix.ro platform. and the price of a ticket was 100 lei, but the concert is sold-out.

The presentation of the project will be followed by the ICONS concert, a thrilling show that promises to redefine the experience of a regular concert. “iconic” names of music, such as Michael Jackson, Queen, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Guns N’ Roses or Aerosmith will gain new creative dimensions thanks to an original chamber group: mini-orchestra of flutes, bass marimba and drums. ICONS is a high-class cultural product, which we hope will be a reference in the national artistic landscape. (Matei Ioachimescu).

After the concert, the spectators who wish to pledge larger amounts for the construction of the Pediatric Palliative Care Center “St. Hristofor” can do it in the second section of the event, participating in the auction to reach the proposed budget for the evening of the event. A cocktail party and social will follow the auction.

All funds collected by purchasing tickets, but also by participating in the auction within the event, will be donated to this cause.
