FRIDAY: “Start moving”, in the trenches of the Alba Carolina Fortress. Cross country and handball, basketball, tennis or badminton workshops

Sports lovers between the ages of 5 and 18 are invited on Friday, April 26, on the West Side of the Alba Carolina Citadel in Alba Iulia, to the “Start to Move” event.

Within it, a cross-country race will take place, over a distance of 2 km and 2.7 km respectively. There will also be handball, basketball, tennis or badminton workshops.

“Alba Iulia High School with Sports Program, together with Alba Iulia City Hall and CSM Alba Iulia invite you to participate, on April 26, 2024, in the educational-sports program “Start moving”, which will take place in the trenches of the Alba Carolina Citadel – West side (La Vizitiu restaurant area), starting at 10:00 a.m.

We invite all sports lovers, between the ages of 5 and 18, to participate in our workshops (handball, basketball, tennis, badminton, etc.).

Also, starting at 11:00, a cross-country race will start for two age categories, namely: 11-14 years and 15-18 years.

Competitors will run over a distance of 2 km and 2.7 km respectively,” the organizers said.

Registration is done on the day of the event, on site.

Participants must meet the following conditions:

• to have an identity card;
• to be of age or the parent/representative of the minor, by registering, assumes responsibility for his participation in the “Start to Move” Event, according to the Regulations.
