Numerous students and preschoolers stormed the creative workshops open at the Olt County Museum. The objects made are specific to spring and the Easter holidays, the materials being made available by the cultural institution.

The atmosphere of curiosity and delight for the children who want to participate in the creative workshops returned to the Olt County Museum yesterday. The interest shown in creative activities will lead to the continuation of workshops for children eager for knowledge and the development of skills with themes specific to spring and Easter. The activity “WORKSHOPS AT THE OLT COUNTY MUSEUM – History, Myth, Color and Symbol” will be held until April 30.

The series of workshops dedicated to the Easter Holidays was opened at the Egg Painting Workshop by 25 students from the 3rd grade of the “Ion Minulescu” National College, coordinated by Prof. Cristina Dinu, who were happy because they went home with at the Painted Eggs Museum. Also yesterday, at the “Gunka and Spiru Vergulescu” House Museum, the clay modeling workshops began, attended by 30 students from the “Vlaicu Vodă” Secondary School, and today, 22 children participated in the clay modeling workshop from “Ion Creangă” Kindergarten.

Today, during glass painting, students from “George Poboran” Secondary School and “Eugen Ionescu” Secondary School, coordinated by Prof. Mara Ștefan and Carmen Vasile respectively, gave life and color to Rilă Iepurilă.

The egg painting and glass painting workshops are held at the headquarters of the Olt County Museum, in Ana Ipătescu street, no. 1, Slatina, on: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, hours: 09.00 – 10.00 and 10.30 – 11.30. The price of participation in the workshops is 5 lei/participant.

Clay modeling workshops are held at the “Gunka and Spiru Vergulescu” House Museum, in Livezii street, no. 13, Slatina, on: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, hours: 10.30 – 11.30. The price of participation in the workshops is 10 lei/participant.

Institutionalized children and those with disabilities will benefit from free participation.
