“When it comes to elections”

--

On Tuesday, Nicolae Ciucă was on an official visit to several communes in Dolj county. Among them was Poiana Mare commune, where he stopped for a few hours to support the PNL candidate.

Despite the chaos in Bucharest for the Capital City Hall, PNL president Nicolae Ciucă kept to his agenda and left for Dolj county.

Nicolae Ciucă, official visit to Dolj

After the demonstration on the occasion of the Day of the Land Forces, held in the municipality of Băilești, at the Heroes’ Monument, the president of the National Liberal Party participated in the launch of the PNL candidate Marin Vintilă from Poiana Mare.

“What is very important, I did not come here for myself, but to recognize the activity of the mayor. You managed to develop projects at the commune level. That means liberal administration, projects financed by European funds. I am still asking everyone to tell people the truth, there is no point in spouting empty words, we are only deceiving ourselves

Nicolae Ciucă: “When it comes to elections, what matters are the householders”

In his speech, Nicolae Ciucă wanted to point out what is important for those from the PNL in the local elections coming up in June:

“When it comes to elections, it’s not necessarily about ideology, it’s about good people. Poiana Mare has always been a liberal commune, here people have always had initiatives. I grew up here in Ghidici, my father’s older brother was one of the most famous cojocari. The liberal policy has always supported the consolidation and increase of the middle class, and the way we support small and medium entrepreneurs we have done through a series of initiatives”.

What projects are underway in Dolj county

At the same time, Nicolae Ciucă also listed the most important projects carried out or being carried out under the local leadership of the liberal party:

“Under the liberal government, it was the first time that economic growth was based more on the investment side than on the consumption side, on the initiative, the liberal assumption we made in such a way as to increase the budget for investments, they managed to dismantle a series full of projects. One of them is the Craiova Bucharest Expressway, then Craiova Filiași, then to Caransebeș, Lugoj. This area was isolated, and in this way we manage to launch important projects for the area, the region, because here are also the relevant issues of the Danube

Our purpose is to persevere and bring all these projects to completion. When we talk about liberal politics we also talk about education. At this moment Poiana Mare benefits from the hot meal project. The evolution is such that we see the program at the level of the entire country, school dropouts have decreased, people send their children to school because here they also benefit from a hot meal, it matters for the future of the country.

Here you are also the beneficiaries of certain conditions regarding medical services. About our government and the world talks too little, that support for Romania has been resolved, the money for basic food for those with an income below 2000 lei, the cards for paying for energy, the increase of the pension point to 1785 lei, this means an increase of 61% of pensions in four years

I’m not saying it’s a lot, but it’s what we promised and what we managed to do. We asked the branch leaders and the mayors through the discussions we had to have the courage to talk to the people, to do something for these communes in the south of the country. It is incomprehensible why most of the roads have remained the same as when we were children

We liberals have undertaken the Anghel Saligny project, through which these things can be modernized. These are the matters of people’s lives, people will not go home until they have a normal life for a man. Those who work abroad cannot be convinced by words but by deeds and by what they see when they come home”.
