On Wednesday, April 24, at 12:00, there will be a press conference at Măgurele City Hall (Călugăreni street, no. 2-4) where the president of the Ilfov County Council, Hubert Thuma, and the mayor of Măgurele, Narcis Constantin, will announce officially building the largest educational campus in Eastern Europe.
A center of excellence for education
The campus, designed as a center of excellence, will be built on an area of 27,300 square meters and will provide quality education for a total number of 3,500 students:
- 1,000 places for kindergarten;
- 1,500 places for primary and secondary school;
- 1,000 places for the high school cycle.
Modern and inclusive facilities
The campus will include a range of modern and inclusive facilities such as:
- Accommodation spaces;
- Technology NZeb (Near Zero Energy Building) for reduced energy consumption;
- Specially designed facilities for children with special needs.

The construction of the educational campus in Măgurele is an important investment in the future of education in Romania. This project will give students from Ilfov and from the whole country access to a quality education, in a modern and inclusive environment.
