We add the yeast over the flour and start the mixer. We add a little salt. I added it later so it wouldn’t affect the yeast growth. The water. We let it knead very well, to get a homogeneous crust. We add oil to the dough, because it helps the dough to be tender. The donut comes out fluffy, not hard. We also add honey. We add rum essence. We have a homogeneous, elastic shell. We let it rise for 15-20 minutes, even half an hour, depending on the temperature in the room. Donut dough has risen. We prepare our work table to form the doughnuts. We grease so that the dough does not stick. Turn the dough onto the work table. Grease the dough a little with oil. We stretch the dough 1 cm and a half – 2 centimeters. We will use a glass to form the doughnuts. We form the doughnuts. I prefer donuts with a hole. They fry better and there is no risk of raw dough remaining in the middle. I prepared the frying pan. The oil is hot. Add the donuts. We leave them depending on how they brown. I prepared a bowl to take them out. I put some absorbent paper. For decoration we use honey instead of sugar.
