There was an earthquake in Romania. The earthquake on Wednesday morning, April 24, occurred in the Vrancea area.

A weak earthquake occurred on Wednesday morning, at 03:00, in Romania. It was 3.3 on the Richter scale. And, according to the National Institute of Research and Development for Earth Physics, the earthquake occurred in the Vrancea seismic zone, Vrancea county, at a depth of 73.4 kilometers.

The earthquake on the morning of April 24 occurred near the following cities: 28km W of Focșani, 69km N of Buzău, 82km SW of Bârlad, 82km E of Sfântu-Gheorghe, 88km S of Bacău, 96km E of Brașov.

Earthquake of 3.9 degrees, on the morning of April 14

Since the beginning of this month, several earthquakes have been recorded in the country. Among the most significant is the one on the morning of April 14, which had a magnitude of 3.9 and occurred at 10:02 a.m., in the Vrancea seismic zone, Vrancea county, at a depth of 80.7 kilometers.


Also, on the morning of April 10, at 09:54, also in the Vrancea seismic zone, a weak earthquake of 3.4 degrees on the Richter scale occurred. A few hours later, after dark, more precisely on April 10, at 11:22 p.m., a weak earthquake of 3.2 degrees occurred in Vrancea county, at a depth of about 70 kilometers.
