PSD Gorj has successfully completed the process of submitting candidacies, both for the presidency of the County Council and the list of county councilors, as well as for the 70 town halls and local councils. The analysis of the results obtained within the sociological studies carried out, indicates a high level of trust that the Gorjenians have in the PSD team.
“At Gorj, the team is complete. In all localities, candidates for mayors and local councils, people appreciated by the community, with the best chances of winning, were nominated. The same thing happened at the County Council, where the president Cosmin Popescu chose a strong team, made up of people with experience in various fields of activity, such as well-known and appreciated doctors or prosperous businessmen, but also of promising young people for Gorj county. It is the most balanced political option, which the people of Gorj will choose, for sure”, declared Mihai Weber, president of PSD Gorj.
“I’m glad that the PSD team includes people I can really rely on. It is a complete synergy at the county level, and this proves that the Social Democratic Party has the ability to organize itself the best. The results will confirm this. We set ourselves a high score, but achievable, with the involvement of everyone”, said Cosmin-Mihai Popescu, president of the Gorj County Council.
