2Performant appoints Cristina Angelescu to the position of COO – Revista Biz

2Performant, technology company and leader in innovative e-commerce and affiliate marketing solutions, announces the promotion of Cristina Angelescu (30 years old) to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Young and one of the few women with management positions in the tech field in Romania, Cristina Angelescu stood out from the moment she joined the company, at the age of only 26.

In the last 4 years he brought a valuable contribution to the company through the Business Intelligence team he built and led. Thus, he helped to develop the company with a vision oriented towards data analytics.

In addition to her impressive practical experience, Cristina Angelescu brings to her new role an important knowledge base, with formal and informal studies in economics and entrepreneurship. Self-taught with a passion for data analytics, she is about to complete the Executive MBA program at Bucharest International School of Management (BISM), in collaboration with Maastricht University. Curiosity, continuous desire to learn and varied education underline her ability to approach complex problems with innovative and strategic solutions, which makes her very compatible with the development direction of 2Performant.

Her main mission, for the next period, is to support the international expansion of the company through the global e-commerce championship BusinessLeague.com, based on gamification.
