The strong wind knocked down a tree on the side of the railway in the Ploiești Est area. The tree fell over power lines and the sparks started a wildfire.

Several fire crews arrived at the scene and managed to put out the fire that affected an area of ​​1000 square meters.

Six passenger trains on the Ploiești-Buzău route are stopped in several stations.

UPDATE According to ISU Prahova, 2 trees were cleared from the railway, and train traffic was resumed. 3 trains were stopped in Valea Călugareasca, 2 trains in Cricov and one train in South Ploiesti Station.

Fortunately, there were no victims.
