Prices on the real estate market in Romania continue to rise. There are large cities where the price for a single square meter easily exceeds 2,000 euros. In others instead, we find slightly lower prices.
Not everyone can afford to make a purchase during this period. Both the price of new and old apartments has reached a record level. In Brașov, for example, the prices for an old apartment have increased the most.
On the other hand, in Sibiu, the prices of new apartments increased significantly compared to last year. Evidently, prices were also recorded in Bucharest 13% higher than in 2023.

Which is the city in Romania where you can buy a spacious apartment with little money? At the opposite pole, in the cities of Timișoara and Constanța, the smallest price increases were recorded. And neither Oradea nor Craiova are inferior.
According to Mediafax, in Cluj Napoca, the average price for new apartments, but also for old ones, reached 2,651 euros for a single square meter. That’s a 7% increase over last year.

At the opposite pole we have Oradea. It seems that this is the city in Romania where you can buy a spacious apartment with little money. The prices are almost half compared to those in Cluj Napoca.
According to the latest figures, the average price for new and old apartments in Oradea was 1,539 euros/square meter in March. Making a parenthesis, in the case of old apartments, the average asking price is somewhere around 1,490 euros for one square meter, 13% more than last year.

Other big cities in Romania where you can get a spacious apartment with little money are Iasi, Timișoara, Sibiu, and Craiova. And here, the price for a single one per square meter does not exceed 1,600 euros, this despite the fact that in Cluj we have a price 1,000 euros higher.
In Iasi, for example, the average asking price for new and old apartments was 1,553 euros per square meter in March. On the other hand, in Timișoara, the average asking price for new and old apartments was 1,557 euros/square meter.
In Sibiu we have a slightly lower price. More precisely, in March of this year, the average asking price for new and old apartments was 1,532 euros/square meter. In Craiova, on the other hand, the average asking price for new and old apartments was 1,585 euros/square meter last month.
