RO-Alert messages on Bihoren’s phones. It’s code orange wind. Avoid commuting

The National Meteorological Administration has issued a code orange warning valid in Bihor county. ISU Crișana sent RO-Alert warning messages to Bihoren.

At the Bihor county level, the National Meteorological Administration has issued a Code Orange meteorological warning of strong wind intensifications that will exceed 80-85 km/h at gusts.

The weather warning is valid on April 2, 2024, between 06:35 and 09:00.

In this regard, the ISU has sent a RO-Alert warning message to the population. “Weather warning – STRONG WIND GUSTS, which will exceed 80-85 km/h, Period of occurrence 04.02.2024, between 06:35 – 09:00. Avoid traveling and take shelter and self-protection measures!”, was the message received by the people of Bihor.

We remind you that, starting Monday evening, Bihor County is under a yellow code for wind and storms, issued by the National Meteorological Administration. The yellow code is valid until Tuesday evening at 10 p.m.

Bihor firemen advise citizens, during the manifestation of strong winds, not to move near trees, billboards or buildings under construction or that present architectural elements that can be torn away by gusts, and to limit the possible damage generated by strong winds , car parking should be done in safe areas, at a safe distance from trees or electricity poles.
