The popular music performer stated that he studied for years to reach far and to please the audience and that it is not normal to share the stage with amateurs. He refuses to go on stage with untalented artists
In order for this commission to be established, but also to be functional, a law is needed. The singer believes that the showrunners must also go through these commissions. The singer also said that he refuses to go to shows with people he doesn’t like and who don’t have talent.
“I never go to shows with someone I’m not comfortable with,” says Turda. The folk singer has been performing for more than 55 years. The artist was active in two well-known ensembles, Ciocârlia and Rhapsody Română, but he was the head of the Culture Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior, according to press reports.
What pension does Gheoghe Turda have?
Gheorghe Turda has a pension of 1,900 euros per month, which is approximately 9,000 lei. He says that it is not a special pension, but a military one, which he deserved after 55 years of artistic career. He worked at two large ensembles, Rhapsody Română and Ciocârlia, and was the head of the Culture Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior. The soloist retired with the rank of general, like other artists and athletes.
He does not understand those who judge him without knowing the truth and advises them to document themselves. He is proud of his retirement and thanks God that he is well.
