The ANAF officer was complained to Tel Verde even by the owner of the store who gave him the rope. The money was given so that the store in Comarnic would not be closed after the problems found during the checks in Valea Prahova.

Following the complaint, officers of the General Anticorruption Directorate (DGA) searched the house of the ANAF employee, where they found the 4,000 euros.

The file was taken over by DNA Ploiești prosecutors, who requested preventive arrest, but the Prahova Court decided to place the Antifraud officer under house arrest.
