Admission competition to the National Training School for Prison Officers

Press release Focșani Penitentiary: Information and recruitment campaign regarding registration at educational institutions for the training of penitentiary police officers:

The National Administration of Penitentiaries, through its subordinate units, recruits candidates in order to participate in the admission competition in its own educational institution, post-secondary studies program, pre-university military education, with a duration of 1 year, session September 2024, for the places allocated to the penitentiary police system, so:

Day courses, duration of studies 1 year:

a) Detention security and penitentiary regime specialization – maximum 26 places (women), maximum 187 places (men); maximum 3 women’s places and 3 men’s places for the Roma ethnic minority; maximum 1 place women and men for the Hungarian ethnic minority;

b) Prisoner Record specialization – maximum 20 places (men and women);

c) Human Resources Specialization – maximum 10 places (men and women);

d) Secretarial specialization – maximum 10 places (men and women).

The specific number of places put up for competition for each specialization will be made by adding to the announcement, between April and May 2024, after the entry into force of the government decision on the approval of tuition figures for state pre-university education institutions for the 2024 school year – 2025. The admission competition is organized and conducted in accordance with the Methodology for admission to the “Constantin Brâncoveanu” National Training School for Penitentiary Officers Târgu Ocna, approved by the decision of the Director of the School with no. 00052/DIR/SNTOBC/12.05.2023, drawn up in accordance with the Framework Methodology for admission approved by Order of the Minister of Justice no. 3917/C/2021.

The methodology for admission to the “Constantin Brâncoveanu” National Training School for Penitentiary Agents Târgu Ocna includes the regulations regarding the organization and conduct of the competition stages and tests, which take place at the school’s premises, respectively: the medical visit; verification of physical skills (sports test – application route); the written test on the Romanian language and the history of the Romanians.
