Today, apartment prices are very high whether it is for rent or for sale. For a three-room apartment, Romanians pay large sums, which can exceed 100,000 euros.

In big cities, such as Brașov, Bucharest or Cluj-Napoca, those who want to purchase an apartment have to take out large sums of money from their pockets. Moreover, the rents are not exactly cheap either.

However, there are also cities where the prices of apartments for sale are somewhat more affordable. In smaller towns, there are homes that sell for just a few thousand euros.

One such city is Vulcan, located in Hunedoara county, where the price of a three-room apartment is 6,000 euros, i.e. 30,000 lei.

One owner decided to sell his apartment for this amount, but he wanted to specify some important details. It has a room in the basement, and the rest of the rooms in the house are on the ground floor.

The apartment has all utilities, as well as thermal insulation and bars on the windows. The owner also stated that the apartment is uninhabitable and requires renovations.

“I am selling a 3-room apartment, one room on the ground floor, the other 2 rooms, the kitchen and the bathroom are on the ground floor (normal height). (…) It has light, water, gas up to the door, thermal insulation, bars, but it needs to be completely renovated, which is why the price is low. Personal property, no debt. (…) The price is 6,000 euros”is the ad posted by the owner of the apartment, on the OLX platform.

Also, the block where the apartment is located is close to the center and several banks, as well as Penny or Pepco. There is also a swimming pool, a park and several restaurants nearby.

The town of Vulcan is located at the foot of the Vulcan Mountains, about 12 km from Petroșani and about 110 km from the municipality of Deva. It has a population of less than 23,000 inhabitants.
