A 56-year-old man wanted internationally for sexual crimes committed on the territory of Spain was discovered by the Bihor gendarmes while he was sitting on the banks of Crișului Repede, in the Sovata area, and consuming alcohol.

The man, who does not live in Bihor, was caught using the eDAC application, made available to the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Saturday, in the context of Romania’s accession to the air and sea Schengen area.

He is wanted internationally for committing the crime against sexual freedom and integrity on the territory of Spain.

“The Bihor gendarmes detected the man while he was consuming alcoholic beverages on the bank of a river in Oradea, which is why he was identified and verified in the databases, through the new eDAC computer application,” the carrier reported on Sunday evening word of the Bihor County Gendarme Inspectorate, Anca Secara.

Furthermore, the individual was handed over by the gendarmes to the competent authorities, in order to take all the necessary legal measures.
