The county councilors approved on Thursday, March 28, during the ordinary meeting, a draft decision regarding the conclusion of a partnership agreement between Ialomița County, through the County Council and the Administrative-Territorial Units on the route of the county road DJ213A through the local councils, in order to promote and joint implementation of the project “Modernization of DJ 213A, Călărași county border – intersection with DJ201 Mărculești, intersection with DN2A Bucu – Scânteia – intersection DN21, DJ 201. Intersection with DJ213 A Mărculești – intersection with DJ212, DJ212: intersection with DJ 201 – intersection with DN 2A Șăndărei”, within the South Muntenia Regional Program 2021 – 2027.
The agreement is concluded by the Ialomita County Council, the project leader, with the localities of Bucu, Gheorghe Lazăr, Scânteia, Mărculești, through the respective local councils.
The Lalomiţa County Council, as a partnership leader, will be responsible for the organization of public procurement procedures, the preparation of technical-economic documentation and all the necessary studies, the realization of the technical project and execution details, the signing of the financing contract and the start of the project , preparation of construction works, execution of modernization works, etc.
The local councils, as partners, must cede to the partnership leader the right of administration over the land surfaces in the side roads adjacent to the county road in the public ownership of the locality, which will be intervened by the project, they will participate in the monitoring of the work executor’s activity , on the territory of the administrative territorial unit belonging to it, together with representatives of the partnership leader, in order to ensure optimal conditions for the implementation of the project.
“Together, in 2020, when I took the oath as president of the County Council, and you as county councilors, we had a commitment, that of the 507 km of county roads that Ialomita County manages today, and at the time we had about 100 kilometers of dirt roads, so that at the end of the mandate, not even one meter of uncontracted county road would remain. We made this commitment together with you and only supported by you. We are discussing today the last 20 km of dirt road that will be contracted and will be executed in the next period. Through this approval that you make today, the last county road that still has part of the land surface will be rehabilitated through the POR. It is about a project of 53 million euros”, said the president of the Ialomita County Council, Marian Pavel.
UAT Ialomiţa County has identified the South-Muntenia Regional Program 2021-2027 as a source of financing for this investment objective, through the call for projects PRSM/149/ PRSM_P4/ RS03.2/ PRSM_A29, and on 13.02.2024 it was submitted to approval and financing of the financing request related to the above-mentioned objective.
