“After work and reward! – is an old Romanian proverb, which, without lack of modesty, applies perfectly to us, at Bujoreni City Hall. A new project with European funds is added to the list of numerous investment objectives for which, together with my colleagues, I obtained European or government funding. 7 more roads of local interest in Bujoreni commune will be modernized, the Rural Investment Financing Agency (AFIR) announcing that our project received an excellent score and was approved for financing.

The investment objective “Modernization of roads of local interest in Bujoreni commune, Vâlcea county” was submitted by us since last year, as it is about streets that were not included in the large-scale project financed by PNI “Anghel Saligny”, through which they will modernize 38 kilometers of roads in the town. The 7 streets included in this latest project financed by AFIR are: Bogdăneşti (DC 164), Liliacului street, Păducelulu street, Salcâmilor street, Armoniei street (section 1), Muzeului street and Veseliei street.

Our achievements will not stop here, because we really want to take Bujoreni commune to another level. In a short time, I believe that the natural gas introduction project will also begin, and then we will seriously deal with the entire road infrastructure. God willing we will do it all!” Gheorghe GÎNGU, the mayor of the Bujoreni commune, tells us.
