Emil Radu Moldovan, the president of the Bistrița-Năsăud County Council, deputy Robert Sighiartău and prefect Teofil Cioarbă spoke admiringly about the investment.

The great absentee from the inauguration that I looked for in vain among the participants was the mayor Ioan Turc. Probably busy dealing with the real problems of the city. Or maybe just worried that the rain outside is filling the Decebal passage again…!?

Gabriel Lazany, the manager of the County Hospital, as well as Nicu Moldovan, the mayor of Beclean, came to see with their own eyes what the commercial giant looks like, ready to take a look, in order to apply the successful recipe in the neighboring city.

Even George Simion himself, the president of AUR, was spotted sometimes smiling, sometimes frowning and serious in the front rows. Dismounted in Bistrita to present his surprise candidates, George Simion didn’t miss the opportunity to tick off another free bath from the crowd…

Conceived in two stages of development, OK SHOPPING CENTER has for now only opened its doors for shops on the ground floor.

The spaces here are 100% rented, since the early stages of the works.

The second stage involves fitting out the floor with spaces intended mainly for services. The second stage will start after the inauguration.

“OK SHOPPING CENTER represents the most important investment in the Consult Immobil portfolio and is a project built by the people of Bistri for the people of Bistri.

More than 40 companies from the county contributed to the completion of the works. It is a product that has its roots in the heart of the local community”explained Marius Negrea, manager of Consult Imobil.

More than 500 Bistrites worked at this shopping center. More than 40 companies from the county were involved in the project: from suppliers, to materials and services to the workforce.

“We want OK SHOPPING CENTER to be more than just a shopping center. To represent a community hub, thought and realized by the people of Bistri for the people of Bistri”, the investors added.

OK Shopping Center is located near Dedeman and will eventually include recreation spaces and a parking lot with over 600 spaces.
