On Friday, April 26, in the Cinema “Mon Amour” hall in Piatra-Neamț, the launch of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians candidates took place in the local elections of June 9, for Neamț county.
The host and presenter of the event was prof. Dr. Cristina Emanuela Dascălu, candidate of this political formation for the European Parliament.
They took the stage one by one, to present themselves and express their political creed and desire to change things by “implementing the four AUR pillars: nation, faith, family and freedom”: MP Dumitrina Mitrea – AUR candidate for the Parliament European, AUR first vice-president Marius Lulea, senator Sorin Lavric – candidate for the presidency of Neamț County Council, Marius Apopei – candidate for Piatra-Neamț City Hall, Timotei Onoriu, president of the AUR Organization for Minorities and Ramona Lovin, coordinator of the AUR Neamț Organization.
“They know we’re a big threat to them and they’ll do anything to stop us from entering this compact fabric. If we go in there, they will drive us out at any cost. We must penetrate, create a breach. And with what? Not just with one mandate, two mandates, three, from now on we have to remove corruption from this county! Nothing will change if this blanket of 5000 corrupt people is not removed. How? By us, by voting and waking up the Romanians! If the Romanians do not wake up and come to vote, then Neamțul will not get out of this minor and mediocre orbit to which the PNL-ists and PSD-ists condemned him for 34 years. We can change the German! The potential of this county is extraordinary, both human and natural. There was not an iota of will. Their only will was to enrich themselves at the expense of the impoverishment of the Romanians”, said Senator Sorin Lavric, the AUR candidate for the presidency of the Neamț County Council.
Marius Apopei, candidate for mayor of the Piatra-Neamț municipality, spoke about his expertise and experience, especially in the field of European projects, but also in administration, being one of the 12 external evaluators for technocrats in the administration. He concluded his speech with a piece of advice for fellow candidates: “A piece of advice, a recommendation especially for mayors, but also for young people, especially for those entering the political area, to sign up, to at least take a general management course with European funds, at least that’s it! Because this thing will make you not get to sit in years as I see, a good part of the mayors or of the local communities, with a hand outstretched for help, for support from the county council or other government structures. And you will be able to attract investors, attract European funds, know how to understand how the mechanisms of some projects work and how to manage them. Thank you very much and I hope that we will all find ourselves together, after June 9, in the places we deserve and they deserve GOLD!”.
Ramona Lovin was the one who invited on stage, to the applause of her colleagues, the candidates for mayors from Neamț county, among whom were Ștefan Chelaru – for Târgu Neamț, Cristinel Burghelea – for Bicaz, Gheorghe-Ovidiu Pruteanu – for Roznov .
“We have the best candidates! I wish you the best of luck and I will support you with all I can throughout the election campaign!” were the words with which Ramona Lovin, the coordinator of the German organization, concluded the launch event for the candidates.
