Shocking revelations about the imposition of candidates and the spending of money inside the AUR party, under the leadership of George Simion and Marius Lulea.
It begins to be revealed how most of the AUR members were deceived by Marius Lulea and George Simion. Numerous members of the party are now demanding the return of considerable sums of money, amounting to tens of thousands of euros.
The new revelation about how George Simion and the AUR leadership manage finances and candidacies caused an explosion of scandal in the party. The leaked information suggests that candidates’ money was unscrupulously mined and eligible seats on the lists were arbitrarily assigned.
According to inside sources, George Simion and his team manipulated the nomination process and used considerable sums of money to strengthen their position in the party. Some candidates, these sources claim, were forced onto the lists without merit or strong ties to the party, while others were financially advantaged at the expense of others.
List of money “juggled” by Simion, received as donations in AUR accounts:
- The former general secretary of AUR Bucharest, Alex Alexandrescucontributed donations for AUR in the amount of 50,000 euros, funds that would have originally been intended for the medical caravan. Additionally, it appears that during his tenure, donations of approx 115,000 euros for the GOLD caravan. Internal sources state that Alexandrescu owns a restaurant in the Mogoșoaia Palace
- Valentin FloreaAUR Sector 6 coordinator, is alleged to have sold two houses to sponsor the AUR party with a total sum of 150,000 euros. It is also claimed that George Simion did not take into account and that even so he imposed another list of local councilors on him in order to disfavor the results that the party was going to achieve in District 6.
- Mihail DojanaAUR coordinator for Sector 1, made a donation to the AUR party in the amount of 250,000 euros.
- Cristi saysvice-president of AUR for Sector 1 and former vice-president of AUR Bucharest, contributed the amount of 50,000 euros to the funding of the AUR party.
- Dan ConstantineAUR vice president for District 1, donated to the AUR party the sum of 50,000 euros, in addition to other contributions. These funds were used for various actions, including rent for the premises and donations to the medical caravan.
The persons mentioned above are among the main sponsors of the AUR party. However, after the funds were collected, these individuals were removed along with their teams of local advisors.
It also appears that party funds were spent unjustifiably and unclearly, including on rent actions for premises, donations to the medical caravan and other activities, without adequate transparency as to how these expenses were authorized and justified.
Among those targeted by these revelations is Valentin Florea, the former AUR coordinator for District 6, who publicly accused the way the party’s leadership handled elections and finances. Florea was accused of using his financial contribution to the party to impose his own interests and to influence the process of appointing candidates.
In addition, it appears that other branches of the party, including AUR Bucharest, are also facing internal tensions and disagreements over how the party leadership handles internal affairs and finances.
With all these revelations, AUR is facing a major crisis of image and credibility, and the consequences of this scandal could be disastrous in the perspective of the upcoming elections. In the absence of swift and decisive action to clarify these allegations and restore the confidence of members and the electorate, the AUR risks seriously undermining its chances of becoming a significant political force in Romania.
Florea calls George Simion “garbage”.
Valentin Florea, former AUR candidate for Sector 6, published a message on Facebook expressing his decision to resign from the AUR party. In a lengthy post, he described his reasons for making this decision. Florea mentioned that in the first years of AUR’s existence, the party seemed to aim to do good things for Romania, but now everything has changed. He criticized the party’s leadership, which he called “garbage”, charging that ideals had been replaced by vested interests and that the party had been divided into camps.
Florea mentioned that for three years, he was not consulted about the needs of the sector, and the collected funds were not directed to the real needs of the organization. He also referred to the pressure exerted by the leadership regarding the lists for the local elections, stating that he was forced to remove candidates who worked from the first positions. Florea also mentioned that he no longer wants to get involved politically in a party led by someone he believes does not have the necessary qualities to be a leader. He expressed his support for Claudiu Târziu and thanked his colleagues in Sector 6 for their unconditional support. Florea concluded that AUR is an illusion at the present time and wished success to all those involved in the future.
Dojană also ended his “adventure” at AUR
Mihail Dojană, the coordinator of AUR Sector 1, posted a message on his Facebook page, announcing that he is ending his political “adventure” within the AUR. In his message, he emphasized that, during his time in the party, he managed to form a united and dedicated team in District 1. Dojană criticized the way the party is managed, noting that it approaches political issues without considering the good people, but only the temporary interests of individual persons. In a gesture of elegance, he avoided giving further details about the reasons why he made this decision, because he believes that this would involve a descent to a level that does not characterize him. His message was addressed in particular to colleagues from the Sector 1 organization, whom he thanked for their support and friendship.
