The mayor of the city of Ungheni, Victor Prodan, initiated, on March 26, a draft resolution providing for the establishment of the Community Consultative Council to support social assistance and child protection activities at the level of the city of Ungheni.
“The Community Consultative Council is constituted as a form of support at the local level for the authorities represented by the mayor, the Local Council and the social assistance services, which through their specialized component are constituted as an alternative to solving problems arising in disorganized families in financial impasse or economically of children deprived of adequate care and education”, said Victor Prodan.
According to the draft, the future Council will have the following composition: Liliana Ola – executive director of the Social Assistance Directorate (president), Adrian Pavel – priest, Diana Simona Șerban – deputy director of the “Emil Drăgan” Ungheni High School, Sebastian Păcurar – Local Police agent , Daniel Crișan – senior police officer, Bianca Belea – local councillor, Iulian Marcel Negrea – doctor, and the secretarial work will be provided by Ramona Avram and Maria Botoș – senior councillors.
