Alba County Council receives funding of 15 million lei from AFM. It will buy electric minibuses for students

Alba County is on the list of funding requests approved by the Environment Fund Administration (AFM), on March 27, for the purchase of electric minibuses intended for student transport. The amount allocated is 15 million lei.

AFM published the list of approved financings on Wednesday

It is about the “Environmentally friendly minibuses for students from Alba county” project. It was submitted by CJ Alba, within the Program regarding the improvement of air quality and the reduction of the amount of greenhouse gas emissions,

• by using less polluting vehicles such as electric, hybrid and compressed natural gas powered minibuses to transport students.

Electric minibuses for students

The eligible value of the project is 15,000,000 lei including VAT and will be provided by the Environment Fund Administration.

In total, the program has a budget of 300 million lei, allocated through the AFM.

Through this project, it will be possible to purchase waterproof minibuses for the transport of students.

The financing of the program is made from the revenues resulting from the sale of greenhouse gas emissions certificates collected from the Environmental Fund.

Ineligible expenses that may occur during the implementation of the project will be covered from the county budget.

CJ Alba still has a project in progress through which 26 electric minibuses for students are purchased. The financing is through PNRR (35.9 million lei).
