artists from 6 European countries perform together with local bands, between April 3-4, at Control Club

Now in its third edition, Europavox Festival Bucharestan event dedicated to the European music scene and emerging artists, returns to Control Clubin period April 3-4. Artists from six European countries will perform alongside local bands during the two days of the festival.

Dutch singer-songwriter Pip Blomknown for collaborating with German alternative/art pop band Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand). Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys and French krautrockers My will perform alongside the local avant-pop sensation Kadjavsion the first day of Europavox Festival Bucharest – Wednesday, April 3at Control Club.

The next day, April 4thwill bring the London duo to the stage Jade Heartwho returns to Romania with a new album, Derealizedbut also on Ada Oda, one of the most interesting arrivals on the Belgian post-punk scene (with lyrics in Italian). The evening will be completed by the acclaimed shoegaze band from Athens, Sugar For The Pillalongside the local heroes PLANT.

Appeared in 2006, Europavox is a cultural project that aims to promote the diversity of the European music scene, both through the Europavox.com platform and through numerous events organized annually in seven European countries (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Italy, Lithuania and Romania).

Since its establishment in 2008, Control Club has hosted thousands of concerts with Romanian and foreign bands, from the new wave and legendary, being considered one of the most important promoters of live music and alternative culture, in Bucharest and in the country. Recently, Control Club joined a European network of live music venues which also includes: Le Botanique (Brussels), Estragon Club (Bologna), INmusic (Zagreb), Loftas (Vilnius) and WUK (Vienna), with the aim of supporting the mobility of emerging European artists and offering music lovers experiences unique concerts, within the events Europavox.

The concerts within Europavox Festival Bucharest (April 3-4) from Control Club will start from 19:00 on both days.

The tickets are available online on Eventbook.ro and in the Eventbook network, at the price of 85 lei for Wednesday, April 3 and Thursday, April 4. A limited number of subscriptions, valid for both days of the festival, are available at the price of 140 lei.
