The military firefighters from Mures were requested to intervene on Saturday, April 27, to ensure fire prevention and extinguishing measures, extrication and first aid at a road accident in the area of Chendu.
“Forces from the Târgu Mureș Detachment were urgently dispatched, with a fire truck with extrication mode, an extrication vehicle, two SMURD ambulances, one of which is Mobile Intensive Care, as well as the SMURD helicopter, in collaboration with an ambulance from the SAJ Mureș and the volunteer firefighters from the Voluntary Service for Emergency Situations Bălăuşeri. The operative crews arrived at the scene and found that two cars were involved in the road accident, and a male person is incarcerated. Acting swiftly to extract the imprisoned person”, informed Lt. Alexandra Călușeri, spokesperson for the “Horea” Emergency Situations Inspectorate of Mureș county.
UPDATE 1:
“The firemen acted immediately, with the equipment provided, to ensure access to the victim stuck in the car, as well as to extricate and extract him without aggravating the injuries suffered. The man was extracted and handed over to the SMURD helicopter crew, for emergency medical care and transport to the hospital. According to the first assessments, the man is in serious condition. Two other victims were consulted at the scene of the accident, by the SMURD and SAJ crews, and were then transported to the hospital for medical care”, the same source informed.
