“The story of the purchase of BMWs by the Romanian Police begins to branch out in completely unexpected directions.

Recently, the Police concluded a contract for the purchase of 600 BMW 3 series police cars for 20 million euros. About 38,000 euros for the car.

Some media investigations showed that the criteria for entering the auction were suspiciously precise, so that practically only the respective models qualified, but these are evil, just as evil are the interpretations according to which the closeness between the president Iohannis and the head of the respective company, Michael Schmidt, would have had something to do with the choice of this supplier, a company that, by the way, has won numerous other contracts for the supply of various products to the institutions of the Romanian state. 45 contracts worth a total of 404 million lei, i.e. approximately 83 million euros, won from 2015 until now.

Which is ok, of course, it’s a serious company that knows how to perfectly comply with public procurement legislation and honor contracts with the state, because otherwise they wouldn’t be able to win them, right?

And don’t think that the company only sells BMW cars to Romanian state institutions. Also sells fur hats, cloth suits, shirts, raincoats, hats or sweaters.

It is about a contract of almost 620,000 lei, without VAT, concluded by Automobile Bavaria SRL with the Bucharest Local Police in June last year, through which such items of clothing were sold.

Automobile Bavaria also sells clothing.

According to Fanatik.ro, although it is an importer of cars, Automobile Bavaria SRL also sells clothing, with a lifestyle catalog on the company’s website, featuring jackets, scarves, capes, vests, all with the BMW logo. There’s also a dedicated BMW Motorsport collection with T-shirts, rain jackets and capes for motorcyclists.

So if you see local policemen in traffic and wonder – look what a cool sweater that policeman has, you say it’s a BMW sweater, know that it is.

The raincoats were sold for 300 lei each – 200 in total, 60,000 lei. Also, 200 pieces of summer fabric suits (150 pieces for men and 50 pieces for women) and 150 pieces of winter fabric suits (men) – for 310,000 lei.

There are also 100 black fur caps and 100 women’s hats (26,000 lei), 656 long-sleeved shirts (87,904 lei), but also 150 pairs of epaulettes for senior civil servants class III and 150 pairs of epaulettes for senior civil servants class I (12,000 lei) I’m sorry.

IGP bought biker suits for 3000 euros from Automobile Bavaria. Maybe that’s what it costs. Perhaps these suits will protect our motorcycle cops and save their lives when they fall into potholes as they are forced to pointlessly escort the various imposters who rise to public office in this country.

It has recently been 7 years since the poor cop Bogdan Gigina he collapsed when he entered a pit in the center of Bucharest, that he had been forced to escort Gabriel Oprea, General Izmană, at night, in the rain and cold, although he had no right. The process is completely bogged down, due to some legal quibbles, and next year the deed is time-barred”, the mornings discussed Vlad, George and Luke in the Awakening.
