And so, just hours after it was confirmed that there would be no father-son reunion, the Palace announced that Prince William would be given the title of Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps, a distinction that many believed would be Prince Harry, who fought in Afghanistan.

You also lose the things you loved. Being Colonel-in-Chief of the Army was something that Harry really enjoyed and was very proud of.”

“There’s a rush to this whole thing, like he can’t wait to get rid of this annoying prince, which is why Harry’s role will be transferred to William in just a few days, on May 13,” Quinn added.

“Harry feels that his time in the army was a happy, rare time in his life when he was judged on his merits as a man, not on his merits as a member of the Royal Family,” he added.
