An actor by profession, Lucien Laviscount gave an interview to the renowned publication Us Weekly in which he addressed the relationship he has with the Colombian artist.
Shakira won over her boyfriend with her persistence
In the interview that appeared on Saturday, Laviscount talked about the artist recognized for the famous hit “Hips Don’t Lie.” The actor said of Shakira that she is “a source of inspiration” and at the same time, “one of the most beautiful” people he has met.
As for the talent of the Colombian artist, Laviscount stated that Shakira is one of the most incredible artists to ever grace the planet. “Her dedication to her job, her fans and her love for life is truly an inspiration,” the British actor said of his new partner.

16 years difference
“He is one of the nicest and hardest working people I have ever met,” added Lucien Laviscount. Albion tabloids wrote in April 2024 that the beautiful Shakira has finally gotten over her split from Pique and is dating British-born actor Lucine Laviscount, according to the Daily Mail.

Friends advised her to forget Laviscount
The artist stated that she was “pleasantly surprised by how charming and funny Lucien is”. Although, Shakira is 16 years older. Initially, close friends advised Shakira not to start a relationship with the much younger Lucien.
As for casting Lucien in the Punteria clip, Laviscount shared that it all came like a bolt of lightning. “Pretty fast. I got a call that there was some interest in me being part of the video. I was filming ‘Emily in Paris’ at the time, but we managed to arrange the dates and here I am on the next flight to Miami”.
