Oana Radu Asked Her Mother To Sell The House To Cut Her Stomach: “I’ve Gained 10 Kilograms Since I Divorced”

Invited to Teo Trandafir’s podcast, Oana Radu made unexpected revelations about her personal life. The singer recently divorced Cătălin Dobrescu, and now she feels free. About her marriage, she said it was a toxic one and it wasn’t milk and honey at all as it gave the impression.

Oana Radu spoke on the “Thinking with Teo” podcast about her physical transformation. The artist lost more than 50 kilograms with the help of a diet, but did not consult a doctor for the stomach reduction operation. However, Oana Radu admitted that at one point she wanted to cut her stomach and asked her mother to sell the apartment in which they lived in order to have the necessary money for the intervention.

The artist’s mother did not even want to hear about such a thing, so she immediately refused her daughter. Oana Radu confessed that she got extremely angry and for a while she judged her mother. The singer believed that if she were thin, she would be more successful professionally.

“I thought about cutting my stomach. It was my only chance to lose weight then. Everyone thinks I cut my stomach, which I didn’t. The only chance for me to cut my stomach was for my mother and grandmother to sell the apartment where they lived. I asked them for this thing and they didn’t want it. I judged their decision a lot then. I told them “if you help me lose weight, nothing will stop me from getting where I want. Sell ​​the house!”. Their answer was a direct one: no! Now I don’t judge them, but then I judged them for a long time. (…) My mother showed me that she is proud of me. I scold her daily. Mom is my main employee, so to speak. Oana Radu stated that after the divorce she gained 10 kilograms, but she is not sorry. Her ex-husband is a fitness trainer, so he was very strict with the star’s diet. There were only healthy foods in their fridge, although the artist wanted to taste more pizza or sweets.

“I am no longer obsessed with kilograms. I’ve gained 10 pounds since my breakup, but it’s been the happiest weight of my life. There is no greater happiness than these kilos. On TikTok I write that I am a pig, a cow or that I look like a barrel. I don’t care because I like how I look. For me, breaking up with my ex-husband is the third biggest achievement of my life. You can’t imagine how long I dragged myself to leave this relationship”, said Oana Radu.
