A Romanian man received a stinging fine after completely disregarding both the law and common sense rules: he threw away a CD of Smiley’s latest album, using the paper container, not the plastic one.
“I bought my Smiley album because I have a kitchen table that’s one leg shorter, so I needed something to prop it up. I chose to put a CD with Smiley, because in such situations you have to choose an object that doesn’t matter, that you will never need again”, said the man.
“Unfortunately, the case broke when I put the pot of soup on the table, so I had to throw the CD away. Inadvertently, I put it on the paper, a neighbor who always looks out the window noticed me, she called the police, they investigated me and fined me”, he says.
Sources within the investigation say that the man’s problems could get worse. In addition to the disaster caused by the wrong choice of container, it will also be charged with noise pollution, because only the CD remained intact and Smiley’s music can still be heard.
