A photographer managed to capture four cheetahs in one photo, but only those with very good eyesight can spot them, as the felines are perfectly camouflaged in the rocky landscape.
Villiers Steyn, a 40-year-old photographer and guide who lives in Hoedspruit, South Africa, was on safari in Botswana’s Mashatu Game Reserve at the end of July when he took these amazing photos.
With the naked eye, the four cheetahs were easier to locate, probably because they were still moving, says Villiers Steyn, but in one of the images, in which they “fit” all four, they are extremely difficult to identify.
Unlike other felines, cheetahs are more withdrawn and “shy”, so after realizing that they are being admired from a distance, they left their positions and gradually disappeared completely into the landscape.
