New York is the city with the most rich people in the world. According to a report cited by CBS News, nearly 350,000 residents are millionaires, that is, one in 24 New Yorkers.

One in 24 residents of the American city has become a millionaire, according to a new ranking by Henley and Partners.

New York City is also home to 744 people with a fortune of over $100 million, as well as 60 billionaires.

The total combined wealth of the city’s residents is more than $3 trillion.

Thus, New York tops the list of the richest cities.

After New York, California’s Bay Area has the second highest share of millionaires – 305,700.

Tokyo (Japan) took third place, followed by Singapore.

London’s share of millionaires fell by 10% compared to 2013, according to the report, to just fifth place.

Paris is in 7th place, being the richest city in continental Europe.

Dubai is by far the wealthiest city in the Middle East, having grown its millionaire population by 78% in the past 10 years.
