A man from Zimbabwe, Africa has been sentenced to 3,376 years in prison, but he will only have to serve 65.

The defendant received a court sentence of 3,376 years in prison in South Africa, according to The Herald.

Jeremiah Nyasha Musiwacho Dube, 59, and several of his countrymen were part of an organized gang of criminals who received a total of 10,939 years in prison at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on 391 charges.

They are accused of money laundering, fraud and forgery.

Dube will serve only 65 of the 3,376 years in prison. Also, Mavudzi Maxwell Ndlovu, another compatriot of his received 3,272 years in prison, but will only serve 65.

Other defendants received sentences of less than 100 years, but in reality will serve only 15 years.

Because they cooperated during the investigation, some of the accused escaped punishment.
