CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad has finally ended his toss jinx as he called correctly ahead of the clash against GT in Ahmedabad on May 10, Friday. Ruturaj was on a wretched run of luck when it came to the toss as he had only won it once the whole season. It was during CSK’s win against KKR at the Chepauk in Chennai.
This meant that the CSK skipper was on a 6-match toss losing streak, which has now finally ended. Ruturaj would rue his luck at the toss and even said he was under more pressure at the coin flip than the match. He would finally call it correctly at toss time on Friday as he called for tails and the coin fell in CSK’s favor. The CSK skipper said that they would bowl first on the track as the wicket looked like a good one. Ruturaj felt that it was pretty similar to the one in Chennai.

“We will bowl first. Looks a good wicket to be honest. It’s been a chasing ground, so we will look to chase. Pretty much similar to Chennai,” said Ruturaj.
CSK would make one change to their side as they brought back Rachin Ravindra into the lineup for Richard Gleeson.
