A driver caused an accident on the A1 motorway at the junction with the A6 and fled. He was drunk and had drugs in the car.
The accident resulted only in material damage. The driver headed towards Lugoj, but was caught by the police on the city belt.
After testing it with the breathalyzer, a value of 0.59 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air resulted.
Also, following the testing with the equipment of the young man, indications emerged regarding the possible presence of psychoactive substances.
At the same time, following the control inside the car, a bag containing plant substances likely to produce psychoactive effects was found.
They were picked up and sealed, being forwarded to the Timișoara Organized Crime Brigade for further investigations.
Following the probationary period administered in the case, the young man was detained for a period of 24 hours and was placed in the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center in Caraș-Severin.
