The weather is capricious in Romania, according to the warnings of meteorologists. After a period in which rains and low temperatures dominated the landscape, now the sun makes its presence felt, bringing with it thermal values close to those of midsummer.
Specialists of the National Meteorological Administration have prepared the population for a radical change in weather conditions. Alina Șerban, meteorologist, detailed that, although the morning started with low temperatures, even below zero in the depressions in eastern Transylvania, temperatures will increase significantly during the day, reaching maximums between 15 and 24 degrees Celsius.
Today and tomorrow will be warm days, with temperatures exceeding 20 degrees Celsius, especially in the western, southern and central regions of the country. Although there will be precipitation in some hill and mountain areas, it will be sporadic and will not reach the intensity of previous phenomena.
“Even if we started the day with cool weather, temperatures that even registered slightly negative values in the depressions in eastern Transylvania, during the day the temperatures will increase, so that the maximums will be, in the vast majority, between 15…16 ° and 23…24°.
Today we will have many more values above 20 degrees, especially in the west, south and center of the territory. Here, the precipitation will also be found, during today’s day, only in limited areas, especially in the hill and mountain areas, but not as quantitatively significant and associated with atmospheric instability phenomena as happened in the previous days.
This weather picture will continue tomorrow, with temperatures slightly higher than today, with maximum values in most parts of the country above 20° to 24…25°.
Even in the coastal area it will get warmer, where today it will be quite cool.
Tomorrow there will be precipitation in limited areas in the hill and mountain areas, only completely isolated in the rest, probably in the southern part of the territory, but on Sunday again we will witness a change in the weather aspect. A cold atmospheric front will cross and cause precipitation on more extensive areas, very likely and quantitatively more significant and again a decrease in thermal values, especially in the eastern half of the territory”, explained Alina Șerban at Antena 3 CNN.
