The biggest question the New York Knicks are facing heading into Friday night’s Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals is whether Jalen Brunson will be ready to play against the Indiana Pacers.
Brunson, the Knicks’ unquestioned leader, injured his right foot late in the first quarter of Game 2 on Wednesday night, causing him to leave the game for a period of time. He missed the entire second quarter, but was able to return for the second half, carrying his teammates with 24 second-half points in the Knicks’ 130-121 victory.

Brunson is listed as questionable on the injury report, causing concern among Knicks fans about his availability.
The fact that Brunson played all those minutes in the second half of Game 2 should make the Knicks feel good about his chances for Game 3, but they know they’ll need him on the court if they want to finish off Indiana in this series.

The Knicks are up 2-0 in the best-of-seven series that shifts to Indiana for Game 3 on Friday (7 pm) and Game 4 on Sunday (3:30 pm)
They’ll be without OG Anunoby, who strained his hamstring late in Game 2. Anunoby is listed as out for Friday night, and it’s unclear when he can return at all.
The Knicks have a 7.5-point underdog to the Pacers in Game 3, the biggest underdog number they’ve faced so far in the playoffs.
