The latest tragedy to befall the family came late last week when their youngest daughter, Molly, died aged 15 in a car accident.
15-year-old girl died in a road accident
Before the 15-year-old girl, the older brother died in a car accident in September 2007, at the age of 13. According to the Irish Independent, the girl’s parents then lost another son, aged 16, who died in May 2016 in another accident. A succession of tragedies that shocked the entire community.
Molly was a passenger in a car driven by another teenager who was arrested by the police. The first data showed that the car overturned.
The young woman is the third in the family to lose her life on the roads
Police appealed for possible witnesses to the collision and asked people to check CCTV footage to reconstruct the events.
