Downtown Bad Ax continues to grow and expand, as businesses provide more to its community.
Heading down North Port Crescent Street, you’ll notice the new KFC location under construction that is slated to open this summer. Before that, residents will see the new construction work at the Hills and Dales Clinic. For the last few weeks and throughout the summer, the clinic will be under construction for a new makeover.
The clinic opened last summer and currently offers primary care services, including check-ups and immunizations. Now, the healthcare organization will expand the clinic’s services by adding an X-ray lab, urgent care, and a specialty clinic. They plan to open the clinic with new services starting this fall.
Last year when the clinic first opened, representatives from Hills and Dales told the Tribune that they would look to offer more services as needed to meet the demands of the Bad Ax and surrounding communities.
The Bad Ax clinic will continue to provide same-day appointments during construction. The office will remain open and operate at normal hours, 8 am to 5 pm Monday-Thursday, and 8 am to noon on Fridays.
