Emil Mitrache went through difficult times a few years ago, when he found out that he needed to have a heart operation, but he did not have the necessary money for the intervention. Even so, the actor has not lost his optimism and says that he always believed that he would get through that period.

Emil Mitache told that heart surgery was necessary, an intervention that took place at a private clinic, in the end. The actor says that miraculously, a friend offered to help him, even though only his family knew what problems he was facing.

“I had to have surgery, because if I didn’t have surgery, I wouldn’t be talking now. But an operation at a private hospital costs money and I didn’t have that amount at the time. It’s very simple, you don’t have, you don’t give. I had a friend who heard, because I didn’t give a word in the country about who could help me, because it was also the period of the pandemic, everyone was at home, nobody had money, if you didn’t work, you didn’t have any, it was a difficult period and he came out of the blue and said he was helping me”, said Emil Mitache, in an interview for Știrile Antena Stars.

A friend helped him with the amount needed for the operation

The American’ says he will never forget that his friend offered to give him the money for the operation and for being by his side during those difficult times. The actor told that then it was one of the moments when he realized that he has people with him who are with him even in difficult moments.

“Helped me. If it wasn’t for him, I would somehow do this operation, because if I didn’t do it, it was clear, but maybe not at that private hospital, but at a cheaper state one. I was succeeding, I’m optimistic, but really, I admit, he helped me a lot and I remain grateful to him for the rest of my life. That’s what friends are for,” the actor said.
