In March, when the second auction was held, the Tax Office asked for 2.2 million lei.

Practically, these are sold as a package, being considered a set of goods located in Bucharest, Sector 1, str. Constantin Godeanu no. 55J. In the documents, the total size is just over 5,000 square meters.

We remind you that last year ANAF sold a Mercedes car belonging to Elena Udrea for 25,400 lei, as well as a Fiat 500.

Elena Udrea was sentenced, in June 2018, to 6 years in prison in the Gala Bute case. At the time of the final decision, Udrea was in Costa Rica.

She had left Romania at the beginning of 2018 and requested asylum in Costa Rica. In October 2018, she was detained by Interpol in Costa Rica and subsequently imprisoned. She was released in December 2018, after the Constitutional Court ruled that the panels of 5 judges from the Supreme Court were illegal.

Elena Udrea returned to Romania on July 8, 2019, almost a year and a half after her escape to Costa Rica. She then announced her return to the country on Facebook, saying she had voluntarily given up her refugee status in Costa Rica because she wanted to raise her daughter at home.

The final sentences in the Gala Bute case handed down by the supreme court in June 2018 and upheld by the decision of April 2022:

Elena Udrea – six years in prison for bribery and abuse of office

Tudor Breazu, the administrator of the lands from Nana owned by Elena Udrea – three years in prison with execution

Ştefan Lungu, former adviser to Elena Udrea – one year and six months with suspension

Gheorghe Nastasia, former secretary general in the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism – four years in prison with suspension under supervision

Ana Maria Topoliceanu, former director of the National Investment Company – three years in prison with suspension

Dragoş Marius Botoroagă, the administrator of a company – two years and six months with suspension

The former Minister of Economy Ion Ariton was acquitted for the accusations of improper participation in abuse of office and use of influence in order to obtain undue benefits.

Also, the panel of five judges upheld the decision of the court of first instance on the civil side.

Thus, Elena Udrea must pay almost 3 million euros, respectively 8,116,800 lei as civil compensation, to the National Tourism Authority and pay 600,000 euros to the witness Corin Boian and 300,000 euros to the witness Adrian Gărdean. In addition, the court ordered the confiscation for the benefit of the state from Udrea of the sums of 695,367 lei and 296,076 lei.
