- The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informs that on the main road arteries, namely the A 1 Bucharest-Pitesti, A 2 Bucharest-Constanța, A 3 Bucharest-Brașov, as well as DN 1 Ploiești-Brașov and DN7 Râmnicu Vâlcea-Sibiu highways, road traffic it takes place on a generally dry road, with good visibility and normal traffic values, but increasing on A 1 Bucharest-Pitesti, at the entrance to the capital and on DN 7 Râmnicu Vâlcea-Sibiu, in the area of the road event from Căciulata.
Today, 09.05.2024, several repair works will be carried out on the country’s national roads and highways, some of the important road arteries being:
– DN 2S, kilometer section 4+500 -5+100 meters, on the Brăila Bridge, Brăila county, milling works and laying of bituminous clothing will take place today, between 07:00 and 19:00. Road traffic will be restricted on lane no. 1 of the direction of travel Tulcea – Brăila, taking place on the second, with signaling through directional beacons, with a speed restriction of 30 km/hour.
– DN 7A, kilometer section 16 – 20, Malaia locality, Vâlcea county, work is being done to level the slopes, between 08:00 and 16:00. Road traffic closes/opens in intervals of a maximum of 20 minutes, directed by traffic controllers.
– DN 67, kilometer section 135 – 151, between the towns of Milostea – Horezu, Vâlcea county, work is being done to fill the cracks, between 08:00 and 16:00. Road traffic is carried out on a half-track, directed by traffic controllers.
“To avoid road accidents, we recommend that drivers adapt their speed to the traffic and road conditions, making sure before each maneuver, avoid dangerous overtaking, signal any intention to change direction and keep a legal distance between vehicles, to allow them to brake safely”, reports Infotrafic.
