Little Egg Harbor, NJ Dog April Needs Urgent, Lifesaving Adoption

--

A beautiful, 11-year-old German Shepherd whose owner passed away is set to be euthanized unless she gets adopted immediately.

I’m hoping, praying, someone reading this will understand the urgency of this plea. I know it’s a huge ask and she’s an older dog but I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t do everything I could to help this girl find a new ‘forever’ home.

Little Egg Harbor, NJ German Shepherd Makes Urgent Appeal for New Home

I learned about April from Beth Stern, the wife of THE Howard Stern who works tirelessly to foster and find homes for homeless cats, dogs, bunnies, and other animals in need through Beth’s Furry Friends and North Shore Animal League.

When I saw April’s location was in Little Egg Harbor in Ocean County, New Jersey, I knew I had to bring her situation to your attention.

April’s life was turned upside down when her owner died and she was given up.

April needs your help by Saturday, May 11th! She’s reportedly going to be put down if she doesn’t find a new family. If you can foster or adopt April please call or text (610) 772-0619.

She’s reportedly good in homes with cats, just possibly a little territorial around other dogs. Please, please, please, consider coming to her rescue.
