At the beginning of this year, ANAF auctioned several plots of land in the capital that belong to Elena Udrea. At that time, it was wanted to obtain more than 2.2 million lei without VAT, but the first auction did not succeed, so this time, ANAF made a new decision regarding these lands.
ANAF auctioned a set of lands in March
This refers to a complex of lands located in Sector 1, on Constantin Godeanu street, which belong to Elena Udrea. The total area is 5,0008 square meters.
ANAF periodically organizes auctions for the sale of movable and immovable goods, both for the recovery of debts to the state resulting from the non-payment of taxes and fees, as well as for the recovery of damages in criminal cases. According to the Revenue’s procedure, the starting price of goods that are not sold at the first auction is reduced by 25% at the second attempt and by a further 25% at the third attempt. After these stages, the price is no longer reduced.
ANAF is struggling to sell Elena Udrea’s land
Because the first two tenders were unsuccessful, ANAF is now on a third attempt.
At the end of last month, the General Directorate for Enforcement Special Cases within the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) announced that, on June 6, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., in Bucharest, Sector 3, Lucreţiu Pătrăşcanu street no. 10, real estate will be auctioned in the third auction. These assets are the property of the debtor Udrea Elena Gabriela and were seized pursuant to a Seizure Application Minutes dated 27.02.2015, established on the basis of an Ordinance issued on 02.17.2015, in file no. 50/P/2014 of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice – National Anti-corruption Directorate. Seizures were maintained according to criminal sentence no. 181/28.03.2017 pronounced by the High Court of Cassation and Justice in file no. 1532/1/2015 and confirmed by criminal decision no. 93/05.06.2018, given in file no. 2303/1/2017 of the High Court of Cassation and Justice – Panel of 5 judges.
Prices have been halved
The starting price of the ANAF auction, in the third in number, for the set of goods is 1,102,804 lei (to which VAT will be added).*
