Three individuals were taken to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon, following a collision in Glodeanu Sărat, a locality located in the southern part of Buzău county.
Accident with three victims in Buzau
Following the road accident in Glodeanu Sărat, two cars and eight people (seven adults and a minor around 13 years old) were involved, reported the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Ialomita.
“This afternoon, around 5:00 p.m., three rescue crews from the Urziceni Fire Department intervened with a water and foam extinguishing truck, an extrication truck and a SMURD ambulance to a road accident in the Glodeanu Sărat locality, in which 2 cars and 8 people (7 adults and a minor aged approximately 13) were involved”informs the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Ialomiţa.
All individuals were medically monitored at the scene. Later, three people were transported to the Buzău County Hospital, while the other five did not require additional medical care.

Three intervention teams from the Urziceni Fire Department were mobilized to the scene with a special vehicle equipped with water and foam, a specialized vehicle for extrication and a SMURD ambulance.
Also, three ambulances from the Buzău County Ambulance Service intervened to provide assistance and rescue those injured in the accident.
The information the police provided
According to the initial information obtained from the scene of the incident, it was found that there was a collision between two vehicles, one being driven on Brutăriei street in the direction of the intersection with Church street by a 25-year-old driver from Bistrița-Năsăud county, and the other being driven on Church Street by a 36-year-old driver from Buzo.
“The accident resulted in the injury of 3 passengers in the Buzoian’s car, 3 young people between the ages of 20 and 25, from Buzău and Ilfov.

The injured people were picked up by the ambulance and transported to the hospital for medical care. In the case, a criminal case will be drawn up and the police continue their investigations to establish all the circumstances in which the accident occurred”IPJ Buzău stated in a statement.
