Suspect they used drugs

On May 6, around 03:00, police officers from the Constanța Municipal Police – Municipal Road Safety Service identified a 38-year-old man who was driving a car on Siracusa street in the Mamaia resort.

After testing with the device provided, indications emerged regarding the possible presence of psychoactive substances.
We note that this is not evidence in the criminal case, the person being taken to a medical facility, for the collection of biological samples, in order to accurately establish the consumption of prohibited substances.

On May 6, around 3:20 a.m., police officers from the Road Safety Service identified a 22-year-old man who was driving a car on Mamaia boulevard, in the Mamaia resort.
After testing with the device provided, indications emerged regarding the possible presence of psychoactive substances.
We note that this is not evidence in the criminal case, the person being taken to a medical facility, for the collection of biological samples, in order to accurately establish the consumption of prohibited substances.

Caught driving with a suspended license

On May 7th, around 09:00, policemen from the Transport Safety Service – Constanța Railway Transport Police Station identified a 28-year-old man who was driving a car on Mangaliei road, having suspended the exercise of the right to drive to drive vehicles on public roads for the current period.

Caught driving under the influence of alcohol

On May 7, around 12:35 p.m., policemen from the Năvodari City Police – Cogealac Rural Police Section 2 identified a 44-year-old man who was driving a car on Ogorului street in the Corbu commune, being under the influence alcoholic beverages.

The man was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being 0.43 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air.

After testing with the device provided, indications emerged regarding the possible presence of psychoactive substances.

We note that this is not evidence in the criminal case, the person being taken to a medical facility, for the collection of biological samples, in order to accurately establish the consumption of prohibited substances and the alcohol level in the blood.

On the 7th of May, at around 11:00 p.m., police officers from the Constanța Municipal Police – Municipal Road Safety Service were alerted to the fact that a road accident occurred on Dispensarului street (bumper).

The police officers dispatched to the scene found that a 56-year-old man was driving a car and hit another stationary vehicle.
The man was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being 0.78 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air.

Later, he was taken to a medical unit, for the collection of biological samples, in order to establish the blood alcohol level.

In all cases, a criminal investigation file was drawn up.

Pursuant person identified through the eDAC application

On the 7th of May this year, around 8:30 a.m., policemen from the Constanța Municipality Police – Police Section 2 found a 40-year-old woman on Tulcei Street.

It has been authenticated and identified.

On the occasion of the verification through the eDAC application, it was found that the woman is being pursued by the Ialomița County Police Inspectorate, against which the Bucharest Court ordered the measure of involuntary hospitalization in the Săpoca Psychiatry and Security Hospital.

The person in question was transported to the Emergency County Clinical Hospital Sfântul Apostol Andrei Constanța – Psychiatry Department, where he was hospitalized.

Police action

On May 7 this year, police officers from the Constanța Municipality Police – Municipal Road Safety Service acted to increase the degree of road safety.

As a result of the activities carried out, 19 contraventional sanctions were applied, totaling more than 19,000 lei.

Also, 11 driver’s licenses were detained with a view to suspension, 10 of which for non-compliance with the legal speed limit.

At the same time, a registration certificate was withdrawn.
