ROBOR (Romanian Interbank Offer Rate) is the average interest rate at which Romanian banking institutions lend to each other, in lei, and its evolution is mainly linked to the level of liquidity in the market.

The benchmark index for consumer credit (IRCC) fell from 5.96% to 5.8%.

The IRCC is calculated according to the average interest rate at which banks lend to each other and is applied with a delay of one quarter from the reference period. The index is established daily by the BNR, as an arithmetic average of the quotations used by ten banks selected by the National Bank.
